Honor Two Members of the Community at the MLK Peace Prize Award Ceremony
On April 4th, The Center will award its highest honor, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Nonviolent Peace Prize. This year we honor two distinguished gentlemen.
Mr. Benjamin Ferencz, Esq. for his courageous work as a prosecutor for the Nuremburg, Germany Nazi Leadership trials.
Mr. Bryan Stevenson, Esq. for his fearless advocacy work in the legal field and his win for the historic ruling making mandatory life-without-parole sentences for all children 17 or younger unconstitutional.
The award will be followed by a luncheon and moderated dialogue by Ms. Monica Pearson with Attorneys Ferencz and Stevenson.
The ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. and it will be followed by a luncheon starting at noon the MLK Senior Center located in Ebenezer Baptist Church on 101 Jackson Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30312
